Why Indian media aren’t showing what International media are showing about Kashmir?

It has been a month since the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A in Kashmir by the Indian Government. Since then, the world is divided into two halves. One section of the media emphasizes dispute, torture, and outrage, while others report normalcy in Kashmir. So, the big question arises: Why isn't the Indian media showing what international media are showing? Aren't they on the same page?

A Historical Perspective

Ever since India gained independence in 1947, Kashmir has unfortunately been a contentious issue between India and Pakistan. Western superpowers don't seem to favor peace in the Kashmir region due to their own interests.

The Interests at Play

These interests are numerous, including arms deals. Why would nations need arms and artillery if there's no threat of war or crisis among neighbors? It's well-known that artillery and technology deals are primarily conducted by the USA, Russia, and France. Therefore, media outlets, especially those based in the US and UK, often portray a different side of the story, even if it means fabricating and brainstorming narratives. By revoking Kashmir's special status, Kashmir has now become an integral part of India, challenging these narratives.

Media Bias Against India's Success

Another interest of these media outlets is their inability to digest India's glory and success. There are numerous instances that legitimize this point. One such instance is a caricature mocking India's success with ISRO. Thus, these media outlets often find ways to humiliate India. If they can't find anything, they create something, as witnessed in the Kashmir issue.

The Role of Indian "Liberals"

Sadly, there are Indian journalists who feed these narratives by writing for international media or highlighting their articles to further their own agendas. These self-proclaimed "liberals" are not happy with the abrogation of Article 370, not because they care about Kashmir or its people, but because their opinions weren't sought. They crave attention and aren't getting it.

Addressing Misconceptions

It's true that there is unrest in the valley, but it's equally true that no pellet guns or armors are being used to suppress voices. No army personnel have tortured anyone, and there is ample stock of medicines. If there's any shortage, the government is working to meet the requirements.

Many fabricated reports have been denied by the District Magistrate of Srinagar, Shahid Choudhary, who expressed his outrage on Twitter. Other officials, including retired Lieutenant General Syed Ata Hasnain, have also clarified false reports.

The True Faces Revealed

The abrogation of Article 370 has exposed the true faces of many "social reformers," "acclaimed writers," and "liberal Lutyens gang" in our society. They call this critical decision unconstitutional and compare Kashmir to Nazi camps. They lash out at the government, calling them fascists. However, they fail to realize when they themselves became fascists while yelling, "we are liberals."
