The best part of being a writer is you create your own universe as God does. These words stuck in my mind one day while I was deep in thought. I liked it and thought that one day, when the appropriate time arrives, I would write it or maybe use it in one of my pieces. I never imagined I would use it for Stan Lee. I never thought the appropriate time would arrive in such a tragic way.

A Tribute to Stan Lee: The Marvelous Creator of Universes

If you're here expecting a detailed biography of Stan Lee, you're in the wrong place. I can help redirect you to his Wikipedia page or you can search for it on Google. This post is a pure tribute to Stan "Marvelous" Lee!

Remembering Stan Lee

The best part of being a writer is you create your own universe as God does. These words stuck in my mind one day while I was deep in thought. I liked it and thought that one day, when the appropriate time arrives, I would write it or maybe use it in one of my pieces. I never imagined I would use it for Stan Lee. I never thought the appropriate time would arrive in such a tragic way.

On this day, when we have lost the soul of Marvel, the soul of all the superheroes we love, I am paused and numb with my own thoughts. The way the news arrived made this even worse.

When I woke up at 5 AM, I opened my Facebook and saw a picture narrating "Excelsior 1922–2018" posted by the official Stan Lee Facebook page. There were more sad reactions than likes. Frankly, I wasn't aware of its meaning and hadn't cared to know about it until today. In a state of half-slumber, I sensed that something bad was about to strike me. Remembering his birth year, the first thought that appeared in my mind was "he is no more," but I was not ready to accept this. I thought maybe it was a prank or something for fun, so I googled it, and there were heaps of articles and tributes for Stan Lee. That confirmed my fear of losing him. That confirmed my wish would remain unfulfilled to see him completing his life century. That confirmed he is no more with us.

The Legacy of Stan Lee

Stan Lee, a writer, editor, and publisher, co-created iconic characters like Spider-Man, X-Men, and Thor. The list goes on. For me, he was an institution. He was a superhero who created superheroes for us, giving a spark to our gloomy world. He created a parallel universe where we could escape our worries and fears, and recharge our souls to fight our challenges.

Stan Lee inspired us not only with his storytelling and imagination but also with his words.

"I love what I do. If I had to do anything else, I'd be miserable."

- Stan Lee

Dear Stan, we are thankful you chose the right path. Otherwise, who would have created all these superheroes, and who would have helped us find our own superheroes?

Now that he is no longer with us, whenever I watch a Marvel movie, I will know that Stan Lee will not appear in his unexpected cameos. It was a tradition for us to wait for him to pop up in between movie sequences. He was the "happiness" of any Marvel movie.

And now I feel it is the right time to acknowledge that everything in this world has a beginning and an end. As he once said,

"Keep moving forward, and if it's time to go, it's time. Nothing lasts forever."

- Stan Lee

The best part of being a writer is you create your own universe as God does. Your universe was beautiful and was a part of childhood for three generations. Thank you for creating it. We love you, Stan, and we'll miss you, Stan ❤.
